Jack was born with Down's Syndrome and lived at home most of his life. Jack helped care for his mother after the death of his father. When she broke her hip he was forced to move to a group home in Hillsboro, Oregon. He enjoyed his time there with his new friends. One favorite activity was bowling. He died on 23 Aug 2004, in Hillsboro, Washington County, Oregon.

Jack E. Bard

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, in Forest Grove First Christian Church for Jack E. Bard, who died Aug. 23 at age 65.

Mr. Bard was born Jan. 8, 1939, in Forest Grove. He was an assembler for Tualatin Valley Workshop in Aloha and participated in several Special Olympics events. In 1990, he moved to Cornelius and later lived in Aloha and Hillsboro.

Survivors include his brothers, Glenn and Gene.
