Mrs. Augustus Barrie, 72, of Shreveport died at 6:40 a.m. Friday at Moose Memorial Hospital in Eunice after a long illness. She was a native of Lone Pine. Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Edward Guillory of Ville Platte and Mrs. L. E. West of Shreveport; two brothers, Leroy Johnson of Burice and Dallas Johnson of Bunkie; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Guillaum of Lone Pine and Mrs. Elaine Willis of Shreveport; three grandchIldren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Centerville Baptist Church in Centerville. Burial will be in the J. E. Johnson cemetery in Lone Pine under the direction of Ardoin. Funeral Home in Ville Platte.

Mrs. Sadie Johnson Barrie, 72, of 3620 Greenway Place, died Thursday in Moosa Memorial Hospital of Eunice after a brief illness. She was a native of Centerville and resided in New Orleans before moving to Shreveport in 1973. The funeral will be at 3pm today in Centerville Baptist Church under the direction of Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte. Burial will be in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Centerville. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Guillory of Ville Platte and Mrs. Evelyn West of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Elaine Willis of Shreveport and Mrs. Martha Guillaumin of Centerville; two brothers, Leroy Johnson of Burris and Dallas Johnson of Bunkie; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial was original between her two husbands, in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Centerville, LA. Sadie and Jesse were later re-interred in Ville Platte, to lie with their eldest daughter and her family.
