Ms. Caroline Johnson Dollar, age 68 of Roswell, GA died Saturday, May 17, 2008. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM today at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel. The family received friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel,173 Allen Rd Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A 2:30 PM graveside and interment service will be held today at Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. She was born is West Point, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Home Economics. She was the president of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Ms. Dollar retired from a career in administration with Apple Computer and Insignia Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin R. and Caroline O. Johnson of Columbus, GA. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jan Dollar; three granddaughters, Michala, Shelby and Alyssa Dollar, all of Claxton, GA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Elizabeth Cole of Springfield, VA and Virginia and Dr. Joseph Cauthen of Gainesville, FL; one niece, Caroline Cole; and one nephew, John Cole and several cousins.
