Lila Mae Hayes, Carlton Yarn Winder 80, of 210 S. Pink St. died Oct. 28, 1990, at Lincoln County Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crouse United Methodist Church, where she was a member. The Revs. Carl McArn and Jack Cooke will officiate. Burial is in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Carpenter's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sneed, a retired Carlton Yarn Mill winder, was born in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Thomas and Matilda Reynolds Sneed. She was the widow of Ray Hayes.

Survivors are daughter, Mrs. Hazelene Ford of Lincolnton; sisters, Mrs. Mary Abernathy, Miss Louise Sneed; six grandchildren; five great- grandchildren.
