ALTON SPEAR COBURN
Alton S. Coburn, 74, of 4 Carll Avenue, Old Orchard Beach, Maine, died Saturday at a Portland hospital.
He was born in Kennebunk, a son of George W. and Suzie (Coolbrith) Coburn. He attended Saco schools and was employed ny Marmont Corporation. He was later employed by South Portland Engineering. Mr. Coburn worked for the Kittery Naval Shipyard as a 1st class machinist, retiring in 1979. He attended the United Baptist Church, Saco.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene A.(Record) Coburn; his two daughters, Joyce (Coburn) Lamontagne and husband James of South Windsor, CT and Judith Coburn of Portland; three grandchildren, Karen (Lamontagne) Kernan, Lori (Lamontagne) Cerone, and David Lamontagne.; and four great-grandchildren, Kyle, Brett, and Breanna Kernan and Alexander Cerone.
Arangements were under the care of Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home , Saco, ME. Internment followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Biddeford, ME.
