OBITUARY:

Eugene A. Alexander, Sr. a well-known resident of Middletown, died yesterday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock of paralysis. He was 65 years old. He was stricken with paralysis in the morning at 6:30 o'clock.

For the past 40 years Mr. Alexander had been a barber of Middletown. He always took an interest in politics being a staunch Republican. He was an active member of the Reformed church.

Besides his widow the following children survive: John V. Alexander, Middletown; Eugene A. Alexander Jr., Frederick; Mrs. E. B. Measell, Frederick; George R. Alexander, Hagerstown; Thomas H. Alexander, Frank Alexander and Mrs. Howard M. Albaugh, of Frederick. Martin Alexander, at home. Laura and Caltherine Alexander, and brother, George W. Alexander, Washington.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later. C. T. K. Gladhill the funeral director.

The funeral of the late Eugene A. Alexander, Sr., of Middletown, will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the house and will be private. Interment will be made in the Middletown Reformed cemetery.
