He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jacquelin Adams Alexander; sons, Steven V. Alexander (Cindy), Alex Alexander and Richard E. Alexander (Sherry); grandchildren, Mark, Shauna and Steven Alexander; great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Ashton Alexander; and sisters, Helen Heitz, June Stevenson, Doris Goodwin and Margie Board.
Funeral service noon Saturday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may go to the American Heart Association or the Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana.
