Headstone gives DOB as 25 Jul 1813, but his baptismal record clear shows he was born 24 Jul 1817 and baptized on 25 Jul 1817 in Taghmon.

James is not the only O'Neill with errors on his headstone. It is possible that the birth dates of the siblings were confused if they were relying on recollection. This would not be unlikely considering many in the family could not read nor write, and therefore probably did not write the information down.
