Jerry Wayne Bumpass, 57, of Denton, passed away on Saturday, April 19, in Kaufman County. He was born on April 18, 1951 in Seymour, Texas to Jim Bumpass and Edna Pierce Hovenkamp. He married Jo Ann Charo on December 22, 1984 in Seymour, Texas. Mr. Bumpass was employed by Roanoke Pharmacy as a pharmaceutical driver.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the First Baptist Church, 905 S. Fifth Street, Sanger, Texas. Visitation will be held from 7 - 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Coker Funeral Home, 403 Pecan Street, Sanger, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. Officiating will be Dr. E. L. McNeal.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters of Fort Worth; one son, mother of Denton; maternal grandmother of Knox City; four grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
