Nora Isabella Easley, 101, Baxter Springs, Kan., left this world to spend eternity with Jesus at 2:05 a.m. Feb. 21, 2007, at Quaker Hill Manor, Lowell, Kan., of natural causes.

Nora was born Sept. 7, 1905, in Alba, Mo.

She was married to Rev. Lester O. Easley until his death in July 1951.

They founded the Church of the Nazarene in Baxter Springs, then went on to serve in different churches until his death.

She was preceded in death by three children, Clyde Easley, Margaret Gold and A.J. Easley.

She is survived by one daughter, Jean Ransom, of Riverton, Kan. She had 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. at the Spring River Assembly of God Church, Riverton, Kan. Rev. Ron Harper and Rev. Dave Robinson will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Baxter Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Derfelts Baxter Chapel, Baxter Springs.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Nazarene Church, of Baxter Springs, in care of Derfelts Baxter Chapel.

Services are under the direction of Derfelts Baxter Chapel, Baxter Springs.
