Carrie E. Spangler, 81, of the Twin Oaks Nursing Home, Campbelltown, and formerly of West Cherry Street, died Thursday afternoon in the Hershey Medical Center. She was the widow of Albert H. Spangler; and was a member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmyra. She is survived by two sons, George M. McCurdy, Ocala, Fla.; and Ralph L. McCurdy, El Paso, Texas; one daughter, Dorothy L. Crocker, St. Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, Emma Seltzer of Palmyra; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra, with her pastor, the Rev. Charles W. Barner, officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
