Ella L Fried was the daughter of Gottlieb Frederick Fried and Hannah Kurrle. She was from a family of nine children.Ella married Archibald Derwood Crofoot on 29 Nov 1892 in Noble County, Indiana. They had 9 children. Their children were: Julia Agnes, Earl Melroy, Ralph Eugene, Archibald, Nelson Derwood, Mabel Irene, George Newton, Elva Lucille, and Freddie. Ella was a very petite lady with a kind and gentle personality. Ella died untimely from complications of an operation at Hope hospital in Fort Wayne. (She was my grandmother).
