Longtime Maypearl Resident Succumbs
Mrs. Dora Cabaniss, 91, of Maypearl, passed away Saturday, Feb 22, in a Mansfield hospital.
A long-time resident of Maypearl, Mrs. Cabaniss was the mother of Mrs. Gaston Kirkpatrick of Dallas, all of whom are well known in Itasca and this section.
Last rites were conducted from the Boze-Mitchell Chapel in Waxahachie Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
Survivors include two sons, Doc Cabaniss of Corpus Christi and Henry Cabaniss of Mansfeld; three daughters, Mrs. Gaston (Marcille) Kirkpatrick of Dallas; Mrs. W. T. (Vera Mae) Teabeaux of Waco and Mrs. J. M. (Irene)Kees of Sunray.
