CARTHAGE - Services for the Rev. Corwin Barnett, 82, of the Galloway Community of Panola County, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2008, at Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Adams Cemetery, under the auspices of Joaquin Masonic Lodge No. 856 A.F. & A.M. Mr. Barnett died November 6, 2008, in Tyler.
Born October 2, 1926, in the Galloway Community of Panola County, he was a retired truck driver from East Texas Motor Freight and longtime minister at Logan Full Gospel Church. Survivors include his son, Carl Barnett; daughters, Martha Jones and Cathy Gibson; and sister, Lula Mae Mathews.
