He was born February 5, 1937 in Knox Township to the late James and Violet (Martin) Pendleton.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Ann (Pearce) Pendleton on October 23,1991 whom he married November 20, 1954.
He then married Esther (Hollen) Pendleton in March 1998. She survives.
He attended Brookville High School.
He was Methodist by faith.
He retired as an electrical lineman and foreman from Penelec.
He coached Little League Baseball in DuBois for many years and enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.
He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Paul (Donna) Work, Mrs. William (Vicki) Kulbacki both of DuBois, Margie Pendleton, W. Seneca, NY; a son Michael Pendleton, Bernville, PA; a step-son Kevin Hollen, DuBois, PA; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters: Mrs. David (Karen) Deemer, Jane Matthews both of Brookville; Mrs. Gary (Judy) Brown, Emporium, PA; Mrs. Jack (Esther) Bish, Indiana, PA and a brother Walter Pendleton, Brookville, PA.
He was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Alexis Seese.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc., 142 West Long Avenue, DuBois, PA.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday at the funeral chapel with Reverend Kevin Bokas and Reverend Kendra Kramer Co-officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville, PA.
