She was born July 19, 1929 in Richvale, Juniata County to Elmer and Clara (Goshorn) Yocum.
She had worked for Empire Kosher and retired from Piezo Crystal. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ickesburg and was a graduate of Juniata Joint High School. She enjoyed Bingo, sewing, putting puzzles together, cooking and was a faithful Phillies Baseball fan.
Surviving are husband, David S. Baughman; children, Donna J. Radle of Ickesburg, Mary J. Peffer of Carlisle, Patty A. Palm of Ickesburg, Harry F. Baughman of Duncannon, Roger L. Baughman of Ickesburg, and Richard E. Baughman of Shermans Dale; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by sons, David E., Charles L. and George Baughman; sisters, Gladys Byler and Kathryn Hockenberry; one grandson and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with viewing from 10 a.m. until service time. There will also be a viewing on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery, Ickesburg.
