A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2001, in Northminster Presbyterian Church in Portland for Willis Anthony "Tony" Forbes, who died May 9 at age 86.
Mr. Forbes was born April 14, 1915, in Winchester, Idaho. He moved to Portland as a child and graduated from Lincoln High School. He served in the U. S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He was the owner of a petroleum company until retiring in 1978, he married Ruth Paine Hohnstein.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Shelley Rodgers; son Paul; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Interment in Lincoln Memorial Park. Arrangements by St. John.
