The son of the late Charles Lee Sutton Sr. and Hazel Cox Sutton. He was married to Catherine Phillips Sutton, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his former wife, Anna Sutton-Wilson, and a specisl friend, Josephine Gruden of Thomas; three sons, Charles William Sutton of Thomas, Donald W. (Linda) Sutton of Fairbanks, AK, and Thomas C. Sutton of Elkins; three daughters, Mrs. Anita (Richard E.) Friend of Thomas, Mrs. Debbis (Thomas) Cook of Thomas and Mrs Virginia L. (Ray) Sacco of Kenvil, NJ; one former son-in-law, Louis Sacco of Kenvil, NJ; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Sutton was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was preceded in death by one brother and one great-grandson.

He was the owner and mamager ot the Sutton Theatre in Thomas for many years. He was a WW II Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion Post and VFW Post #71 of Oakland, MD, and the Midnighters Orchestra of Thomas.
