Luke C.Hill, age 83, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008 at Hamilton Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born June 21, 1924 in Henagar, Alabama to the late Sarah Savannah and Isaac Milligan Hill. Beside parents he was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Monroe Hill, Bob Hill, and George Hill; and one sister, Mary Snow.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Evelyn Hill of the residence; two sons and daughters in law, David and Sue Hill of Calhoun and Lake and Donna Hill of Cohutta; three daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Dennis Smith of Dalton. Joyce and James Wilson of Varnell, and Susan Hill of Cohutta;
grandchildren and their spouses, Chris and Mindy Smith, Chad and Britney Smith, Mark and Kelly Hill, Adam and Brittany Hill, Jason Hill, and Mandy and Albert Coley; eight great grandchildren also survive.
