Architect, Artist. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a member of the wealthy and prominent Anderson-Longworth family. The son of Larz and Emma Anderson, he studied with Louis Tiffany and became a famous artist and architect. He helped design several buildings in Cincinnati with the A. O. Elzner Company and was known as an artist for landscape and marine painting. During the late 1800's, he painted in Arizona and New Mexico and exhibited work at the Art Institute of Chicago. Anderson was the director of Spring Grove Cemetery from 1906 until his death in Cincinnati in 1916. His great-grandfather was Cincinnati's first millionaire, Nicholas Longworth.
