COX, MR. JAMES EDWIN, age 81, of Pelham died February 6, 1994. He was a native of LaGrange, GA retired from Daniel Construction Company. Member and Deacon 1st Baptist Church of Birmingham. Navy Vet. of WWII.

Funeral service will be at Ridout's Valley Chapel, 9:30 a.m. Tuesday with burial at Shadow Lawn Cemetery in LaGrange, GA at 1:30 C.S.T. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Survivors: son, James W. Cox of Helena, daughter-in-law, Toni T. Cox of Helena, grandson, Taylor James Cox of Helena, sister, Edna Ruth Cox of Homewood, brother, William L. Cox of Columbus, GA, special friend, Jane W. Gibson of Hoover.
