Jack Rufus Clark was my father and the son of William Dillard Clark and Naomi Sisco. He married my mother, Eva Dell Johnson 3 April 1929 in Lamar Co, Texas.

Jack R. Clark, 71, of Bentonville, died Tuesday in a Rogers nursing home. He was born Aug 24, 1911 in Honey Grove, Texas. Son of William Dillard Clark and Naomi Sisco.

Mr. Clark was a heavy equipment operator in California before retiring in 1971. He moved to Bentonville in August 1981 from Redondo Beach, CA.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Johnson Clark of the home, two sons, Jack M. Clark of Bentonville and Don Clark of Anaheim, CA., three daughters, Geneva Lowery of Houston, Texas, Patricia Meyer of San Dimas, CA and Brenda Mowrey of Lawndale, CA, a brother, Amos Clark of Petty, TX, 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

Graveside service and burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Centerton Cemetery by the Rev. Byzie Parr. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today in Burns Funeral Chapel, Bentonville.
