GARRETT - Faralee G. Carr, 78, of Garrett died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001 at her home. She was born Feb. 18, 1923 in Waterloo to Ernest and Irene (Brown) Pearson. She married Virgil Wetoskey in 1941. Following his death, she married Henry Carr on Oct. 12, 1952, and he survives in Garrett. Mrs. Carr was a homemaker and had resided in Garrett for 76 years. She was a member of First Church of Christ in Garrett, TOPS Club and Tri County Skirts & Shirts Square Dance Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Sally Moughler of Auburn, Janet Carr of Garrett and Diane and John Riggs of Butler; four stepbrothers, Vernon, and Allan Hullinger, both of Butler, Franklin Hullinger of Auburn and Eldon Hullinger of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, George Pearson, John Pearson and Richard Joe Pearson; four sisters, Mary Pearson, JoAn Pearson, Ellen Adel Pearson and Margaret Freeze; a step-brother, Pete Hullinger; and a son-in-law, David Moughler. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in First Church of Christ, Garrett with Lloyd Mealer officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery, rural Garrett. Calling is today from 2-8 p.m. in Thomas Funeral Home, Garrett and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. Memorials are to First Church of Christ or Parkview Hospice.
