Ronald Wayne Baker was my mother's youngest brother.

Ronald Wayne Baker, age 52, of Okeechobee, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach.

Born Feb. 15, 1951, in Ocoee, Mr. Baker had been a resident of Okeechobee since 1984.

He was a member of Local Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 630 and he enjoyed fishing and electronics. He was a member of Fountain of Life Church.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Glen Baker and father, Edwin A.Baker, Sr.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Patricia Baker; son, Glenn Lee Baker of Okeechobee; mother, Vera Baker of Orange Park; stepchildren, James Wills and Tammy (Michael) Chambers of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; one brother, Edwin A. Baker, Jr.; one sister, Sharon A. Stiefel; stepsisters, Iris Degues and April Freelove; one stepbrother, John Spooner; and father and mother in-law, Paul and Sarah Reding.

Friends may call at the Buxton Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 4 until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Buxton Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Joe Bishop, Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.
