Mrs. Lorraine M. (Devino) Bedard, age 65, went to heaven on Saturday morning, February 9, 2008, to join her son, James, who led the way on June 9, 2007. She was born in Milton December 16, 1942 to the late Allyn C. and Mable (Wells) Devino. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren,, golfing, gardening, cooking, bingo, and spending winters in her Florida home. She leaves behind her loving family including her husband of 47 years Jean Paul Bedard of Swanton, her daughter Deborah Bedard-Coutu and her partner Patrick Malone of Sheldon, her children Corey, Marc and Bryea Coutu: her son James's family, his wife Suzanne Bedard of Sheldon, their children Paige Bedard of Sheldon, Shannon and her Fiancé Angelo Pappano and their son Avery James (Little James) of Berkshire,: Chad Bedard and his wife Suzanne and their children Jordan, Justin, Jasmyn, Jayden Jaylin and Jilyan of Fairfield; her step-children Paul Roy Bedard of Waitsfield, Jacqueline Bedard of Wardsboro, and their son John Paul Bedard, his wife Heather of Wardsboro, and their son Robert; Denise Bedard-Comstock and her husband Everett Comstock, of St. Albans, their children Christopher and Deni-Marie Comstock; Michael Bedard and his wife Donna of Hartland, their children Scott and Travis. The family looks forward to the day when they will be reunited with Lorraine and James in heaven.

Lorraine also leaves her three sisters Shirley Densmore of St. Albans, Corrine Butler and her husband Lonnie of North Carolina and Joan Jenkins of Milton, her brothers and sisters-in-law Andre and Theresa Bedard of Greenfield Park, Quebec, Guy and Winnie Bedard of Schaghticoke, New York, Denise Richard of Sheldon, Claudette Gadouas of Sheldon, Pierre and Rejane Bedard of St. Constant, Quebec, Di'Anne Bedard of Milton, Louise and Norman Boisvert of Jericho, Frances and Donald Bessette of Highgate, Rene and Helene Bedard of Watervlet, New York, many nieces, nephews and special friends.

She was predeceased by her son James, her parents Allyn and Mable, sisters Delma Karko, and Iola Winegar, brother Winfred Mike Devino, mother and father-in-law Rene and Rose Bedard, and brother-in-law Robert Bedard.

Due to the capacity of St. Anthony's Church in Sheldon, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 16 th, in Holy Angels Church, Lake Street, St. Albans. Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., rom 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday. Interment will be next spring in the Bedard family lot in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Sheldon Springs. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Masses at St. Anthony's Church or memorials to Franklin County Home Health Agency, 3 Home Health Circle, St. Albans, Vt. 05478.
