In 1970, Dorothy moved to Lake of the Ozarks and purchased Ol Possum Holler Resort which she later renamed Alli-Lo-Bo Resort, which is now the Fish.
In later years, Dorothy loved and watched golf while knitting small children's blankets for Many Hands Quilting Ministry which provides warmth and comfort for small sick children in need. She was an avid reader, always beginning each day with Gods Good Word.
Mom was a loving caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, always putting others first. We celebrate Mom's life and accomplishments and will always treasure her memories. Mom, being the unmovable rock and reliable soul to all who knew and loved her.
