James Elbert (J.E.) Camp, aged 67, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas died Friday, March 16, 1979 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church at Sherrill. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Fuel and Ida Lillian Wilson Camp; two sisters, Beatrice Camp and Mrs. Pearl Breech; two brothers, Homer and Lloyd Camp; and his wife, Cynthia Ann Harrison Camp. Survivors are a son, Jimmy Camp of El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. JoAnn McDaniel of Glendale, and Mrs. Peggy Pennington of Murfreesboro. Three brothers, W.E. Camp of Pine Bluff, W.A. Camp of Altheimer and Coy Camp of Glendale; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Short and Mrs. Estelle Hyde, both of Pine Bluff, and Mrs. Hazel McNeil of Collins; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary, Pine Bluff. Burial will be at Brown Cemetery (Jefferson County). Pallbearers will be J.D. Culpepper Jr., C.W. Camp, L.D. Camp, Gary Camp, Harold Hyde, Alton Wood, LeRoyce McNeil, and Bill Breech, all nephews.
