Marie Hines Corrado was the daughter of Bridget Carlin and Christopher Hines. She was orphaned by the time she was six years old. Her mother died in 1917 and her father died the following year, a victim of the influenza epidemic of 1918. Marie and her two brothers Maurice and Francis were raised by their grandmother Margaret Gillespie Carlin. Marie later married Joseph Corrado (1908-1996). She is survived by one son Joseph (Joan) Corrado, two daughters Rose (Alfred Astorga), and Clare (Pat) Corrado, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
