James Wesley Flolo was born March 6, 1958 to Thomas and Bonita (Peterson) Flolo at Huron, South Dakota. He graduated from Huron Senior High School in 1976. He was employed with Prunty Plumbing in Brookings, and Lawson Plumbing in Huron.
He is survived by his mother & step father, Bonita & Gene Whitney; his father & step mother, Thomas & Betty Flolo all of Huron; 2 brothers, Russell Flolo of Sioux Falls, John Flolo of Ketchum, Idaho; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mark (Sally) McCullough of Jackson, Wyoming, Mrs. Robert (Suzanne) McCandless of Billings, Montana; 1 niece, Korey Flolo, 2 nephews, Sam McCandless & Peter McCullough; grandmother, Genevieve Layton of Hawarden, Iowa; step-grandmother, Hazel Whitney of Metairie, Louisiana; a step-brother Rod Dunnick, & 2 step sisters, Mrs. Teri (Vickie) Zwieg & Dixie Huber all of Huron.
Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Ann Flolo, Wesley and Margie Peterson and Albert Layton.
He died Thursday morning at Huron Regional Medical Center at the age of 25.
