The body of Mrs. Jos. R. Miley, who died last Tuesday at the home of her son, R. C. Miley, in Meridian, Miss., arrived in Strasburg last Friday and was buried Sunday. Mrs. Miley was a daughter of the late Samuel Bowman and was born about two miles South of Edinburg. She is survived by five sons, William, Sam'l, Joseph, Robert and Benjamin and two daughters, Mrs. Arch Riddell and Mrs. Amanda Brown, one sister, Mrs. John Clinedinst and a brother, Bird Bowman. Mrs. Miley who was 70 years of age spent most of her life in Shenandoah county, only going to Mississippi a few years ago.
