Mrs. Myrtle Louise Landers Hadley died at 8:25 p.m. Friday May 18, 1984 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
Myrtle Louise was born March 18, 1924 in Assumption, Illinois to Omar and Mary L. (Darst) Landers. Many years ago she was married to Joseph Hadley, who died June 2, 1968. She had resided her entire lifetime in this city.
Surviving are four sons, Joseph, Paul and Wayne Hadley of Taylorville and David Hadley of Paragould, Arkansas; three daughters, Karen Lowis, Marcia Thomas and Violet Hadley all of Taylorville. Two brothers, Challie Landers of Taylorville and Harry Landers of Clarksdale; two sisters, Capitola Walker, Taylorville and Ruth Adomitis of Tovey. nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, a son Richard and a daughter Margaret as infants.
Pall Bearers were Joe Brown, John Walker, Terry Walker, Gary Landers, Jeff Adomitis and Dale Adomitis. Scott Landers was a honorary pall bearer.
Visitation was held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shafer's Funeral Home in Taylorville, funeral was at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial was at Camp Butler National Cemetery near Riverton.
