Martha was not the wife of Issac at the time of her death. On Oct. 30 1870 she married James Collins, and was his wife at the time of her death. Martha was born in TN. In the space of seven years Martha had lost two children and her husband. When she married James Collins he had seven children, from 17 years of age to 8 months. Martha had three, ages 15,13,and 7 for a total of 10 children. Later in the 70's her elderly parents joined the household. At one time her household consisted of 16 people. It is small wonder that Martha died at the young age of 53.
