Visitation and services were held Thursday, Aug. 31, in Mount Olivet Chapel. The burial was at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
She was born to Jefferson Davis and Sarah Rosson, the last of 12 children. She lived much of her life in Fort Worth before moving to Graham three years ago. She was a member of Edge Park United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Graham.
Marie was a dedicated teacher, devoted to second-graders for 22 years. She taught at Saginaw and Castleberry and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
She married Lynn M. Hagler on July 12, 1935, and they enjoyed 50 years together before he preceded her in death in 1985.

Survivors include loving daughter Patricia Renfro; grandchildren, Debra Stamper and husband, Conner, Michael Deason and wife Yvonne, and Michelle Horn and husband Gary; and great-grandchildren.
