NEW OXFORD Edward W. Kuhn, 74, entered into God's eternal care Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at the Brethren Home Community in New Oxford. He was the husband of Vivian M. (Sneeringer) Kuhn, his wife of 52 years. Born September 18, 1933, in Adams County, he was the son of the late Edward H. and Anna (Riser) Kuhn. Edward retired from Conewago Contractors in Hanover after working there for 24 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove, the Catholic War Veterans in Bonneauville, a life member of the McSherrystown Fish and Game, Littlestown VFW, and the Irishtown Fire Company. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Jeffrey Kuhn and wife, Cynthia of Dover, Douglas Kuhn and wife, Julie of Abbottstown, and Steven "Harry" Kuhn and wife, Holly of East Berlin; one daughter, Joyce Zinneman and husband, Alan of Hanover; six grandchildren, Joy and Dustin Kuhn, Gabrielle and Shannon Kuhn, and Krystal and Casey Lawrence; six brothers, Donald Kuhn of Fort Loudon, Bernard Kuhn, John Kuhn, Robert Kuhn, James Kuhn, and Joseph Kuhn, all of New Oxford; and three sisters, Sandra Slagle, Linda Baltzly, and Jane Walker, all of New Oxford. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Kuhn. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Edgegrove. Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Kuhn, Dave Kuhn, Andy Kuhn, Michael Sneeringer, Edward Sneeringer, and Robert Kuhn Jr.
