Died, Jan. 26, at her home in Elkhart, Ill., Mrs. Harrison Allen (colored), aged 55 years. The remains will probably arrive on the evening C. & A. train and the funeral will occur today.
Mrs. Allen was a member of the Union Baptist church and was well known in this city. She is a daughter of Mrs. Dodd, an old lady who claims to be 103 years old the 4th of the coming March.
