Robert B. Ferrell
Princess Anne -- Robert Blevens Ferrell, 82, retired housepainter of nearby Perryhowkin, died Tuesday, in Peninsula General Hospital after a long illness.
He was a World War I Army veteran and a member of Loiver T. Beauchamp American Legion Post No. 94 here.
Born in Rogersville, Tenn., he was a son of the late James and Beth Presley Ferrell.
Surving are his wife, Mrs. Susan Mary Ferrell; a son, Robert J. Ferrell, near Princess Anne; a grandson, and a brother and two siters, Evan Ferrell, Miss Mary Ferrell, Rogersville, and Mrs. Sarah Ann Vaughn, Churchill, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. here in the Hiaman Funeral Home. The Rev. Leslie Caperoon of the Snow Hill Christian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Perryhawkin Cemetery.
