Mr. Devillier was the owner of Acme TV Service in Opelousas. Then, he moved to Baton Rouge and was the owner of Errol's Electronics in Baton Rouge for 40 years. He also was the owner and operated of Star Food Distributors, Inc. for 20 years.
Errol was a devoted husband, and a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include two daughters: Ellen Dailey and her fiancé', Pat Kilpatrick of Houston; Sheila Ray and her husband, Sonny of Opelousas; two sons: Paul Devillier and wife, Guidella of Toledo, Oregon; and Steve Devillier and wife, Brenda of Crowley; sixteen grandchildren: Melanie Alakkam, Leslie Hardin, Angela Bachelor, Karl, Jonas and Chad Ray, Mark Devillier, Ashlee Nguyen, Mamie Adams, Tyler Bearb, Naomi Diaz, Juan Campos, Jared, Lea, Cheyenne and Layla Devillier; one sister, Beatrice Sibille and husband, Gordon of Bristol; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Devillier was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Vick Devillier; his daughter, Mary Diane Devillier; his parents: Sylvan Devillier and Etta Nezat Devillier of Opelousas; and his sister, Sylvia Walker.
Interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
