Funeral services for Mervin Warren Adcock aged two, were held Monday.
Mervin was accidentally burned at his home at Chelan Falls Thursday and was taken immediately to a Wenatchee hospital where he died Friday.
Mervin and his twin brother, Merton, were playing with a paper wrapper near the kitchen stove when one of the children ran outdoors to tell his mother that Mervin was on fire.
Mrs. Adcock grabbed the youngster, wrapped a blanket around him and rolled him in snow to extinguish the blaze. He was then rushed to the Wenatchee hospital where he died.
Surviving besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Adcock of Chelan Falls, are two sisters, Mrs. Ted Wheat of Chelan and Dora Lee Adcock of Chelan Falls; seven brothers, Robert Adcock of Winthrop, James, Riley, Sammie, Louie, Owen and Merton Adcock of Chelan Falls; and his grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. J. B. Flora of Iowa and Robert Adcock of Missouri.
