Mrs. Viola G. Bledsoe, 90, widow of Eugene "Doc" Bledsoe, died Thursday, June 18, 1987.
Born in Newberry County, she was a daughter of the late calvin and Martha McEntire Griffin. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons:James Henry and Luther Bledsoe of Saluda, two daughters; Mrs. Dudie Perry of Newberry and Mrs. Kathleen Gibson of Saluda; a brother; Herman Lee Griffin of Newberry; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Force Unger of Saluda, Mrs. Eline Geiger of Newberry and Mrs. Willie Mae Dean of Clinton; Grand children, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
