Mr. David Savage and family received a telegram this morning announcing the death of his mother at Sioux City, Ia., Mrs. Sophia Savage, always known as Grandma Savage among her friends.
Mr Savage left Saturday morning for to attend the funeral which occurred Sunday. Mrs. Savage has many friends in this city and her sudden death is quite a shock as she was sick but two days.
