Fred Ell Holden, 85, died at his home at Manson Tuesday night following a weeks illness.
Fred Holden was born November 23, 1859 at St. Charles, Minnesota, where he grew to manhood. He was married to Grace Lansing, July 11, 1888, at Hastings, Minnesota. The family came west settling at Clarkston, WA., in 1900. After spending some time in California and North Dakota, they came to Manson in 1915, where thy have since resided.
Surviving him besides his wife, Grace, are one son, Seth, of Manson; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Church, Shelton, Wa., and Mrs. Wallace Houser, Manson; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Note: His middle name is Ell. possibly short for something
