He married c1840 in Monongalia County, VA/WV Matilda P. HUNT daughter of Jonas HUNT and Jane SEATON-HUNT

Matilde P./Sarah HUNT after the death of Thomas WILKINSON Sr. in 1833 moved with HUNT relatives to Morgantown area of Monongalia Co., Virginia(W.V. after 1863) in 1834.

In 1853, she moved to Iowa with second husband, Henry BAKER.
