Irma Lee Dick 89, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery with Dr. Murray Gossett, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Mrs. Dick was born Oct. 15, 1918, to Ross and Virginia Carey in Waukomis, Okla.

She married Marvin L. Dick Sr. on Thanksgiving Day 1937 in Amarillo. She was the bookkeeper for the family business, Johnson-Dick Appliances. She was a member of the Arts and Crafts Club at Lake Tanglewood, where she and her husband lived for many years.

Mrs. Dick was a member of Lake Tanglewood Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Dick Sr., in 1998.

Survivors include three sons, Marvin L. Dick and Thomas D. Dick and wife Pam Latham, all of Amarillo, and Dr. Ronn E. Dick and wife Patty of Sitka, Alaska; two brothers, Gordon Carey and wife Louise of Amarillo and Dean Carey and wife Barbara of Pawhuska, Okla.; and five grandchildren, Sean Dick, Michelle Dick, Michael Dick, Collauna Marley and husband Ross and Chohla Dick.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
