Brenda Alcorn was the daughter of Wilbur L. and Violet Davis Gruber. She married Jerry Alcorn on June 17, 1967, in Danville.
She is survived by her husband, her one son, Todd Alcorn, two daughters, Angie Alcorn and Jessica Alcorn, two sisters, Joyce (Chuck) Honn and Janet (Bill) Wear, a grandson, Michael , her father-in-law, Lamoine Alcorn, stepfather-in-law, Wayne (Jean) Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents.
Jean graduated from Danville High School in 1967. She worked as a pharmacy technician at the VA Hospital for the last 15 years. She was a member of the Cornerstone Church of Christ (formerly Hooton Church of Christ).
