Maudames C. Conner passed away Sunday evening, January 6, 2008, at Hooverwood in Indianapolis. She was 91.
She was born, March 11, 1916, in Fullerton, LA, the daughter of George R. and Annie (Talbot) Carroll, M.D.
Maudames graduated from Iota High School, spent her early years in Louisiana, and received her bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 1936.
She married William T. (Bill) Conner in 1937, moved to Indianapolis, then moved to Muncie in 1954.
Mrs. Conner was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, Delaware Country Club, Tri Kappa Sorority, DAR, and attended First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, William T. Conner, Jr. (lady friend-Betty Rohlfing), Spencer, IN and James Conner (wife-Mary), Canton, GA; three daughters, Ann Cox, Indianapolis, IN, Jane King, Orland, CA, and Carroll Spinks (companion-Ray Matthews), Walnut Cove, NC; 12 grandchildren, Bill D. Conner, Wade Conner (wife-Erika), Carrie Cox, Ann Workman (husband-Scott), Chris King, Carter King (wife-Amy), Kim Conner-Rolfe (husband-Glenn),Megan Conner, Joe Conner, Bridget Conner, Justin Spinks, and Eme Spinks; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998.
Memorial services were to be announced at a later date. Entombment was held in Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
