Mrs. Copeland died Monday at Cartmell Home for Aged.
She was born December 20, 1910 in Palestine to Robert Lee and Mae Frankie Knox Hassell.
Mrs. Copeland was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George D. Copeland, in 1991; sister, Evelyn Dean; and brother, S.C. Hassell.
Mrs. Copeland is survived by stepdaughter, Fae Golden of Mineola; brother, John N. Hassell of Rusk; three stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Condolence calls will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday before the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas 75701, or to a charity of choice.
