HEALDTON -- Services for Ida A. LeVally, 100, will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church with the Revs. Richard Pitt and John McLemore officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Maysville Cemetery.
Born Feb. 2, 1898, at Trumble, Texas, to Thomas Jefferson and Virginia Tennessee Garrett Willoughby, she died Dec. 26, 1998, at a local health care facility. She married Earl R. LeVally on March 25, 1916. He preceded her in death in 1968. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Edward and Stephen P., and two daughters, Clara LeVally and Jo Stone.
Mrs. LeVally came to Indian Territory with her family in 1905, settling in Vanoss. She and her husband later lived on a small acreage south of Maysville, then moved to Purcell. She moved to Healdton in 1994. Mrs. LeVally was a longtime member of First Christian Church at Purcell. She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, and held all offices and acted as installing officer at numerous state installations of the order.
Survivors include two daughters, Eulaula Smith, Norman, and Eula Steele, Blanchard; one son, Earl E., Healdton; three sisters, Vergie Barnes, New Braunfels, Texas, Wilma Johnson, Nicona Park, and Evelyn Reynolds, Lawton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
