John Eric Losey, 49, 3940 W. Prall Lane, Scottsburg, died Monday, May 27, 2002, at his home.
He was born July 8, 1952, in Scottsburg, the son of John and Eileen Shields Losey. He was a computer operator for the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, and a member of the Jefferson County Civil War Round Table.
Surviving are his parents, of Scottsburg; one sister, Jana Eileen Piet of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and one nephew.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel Baptist Church in Scottsburg, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg; and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
