Linda E. Coppersmith, age 92, of Huron, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at her home.

Linda Coppersmith was born Linda Elizabeth Schultz on October 21, 1915, to Herman and Hannah (Linde) Schultz on a farm near Winfred, SD. She attended grade school at Winfred, SD and graduated from Winfred High School in 1934.

On June 30, 1944, Linda married Russell "Rusty" Coppersmith at Howard. They made their home in Huron where she has lived since that time. She was the bookkeeper for her husband's business Rusty's Refrigeration Service.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and her hobbies were writing letters and remembering birthdays.

She is survived by her daughter, Monna Rae Morse of Langdon, ND; two granddaughters, Linda (Tim) Haak of Valley City, ND and Stephanie (Doug) Damman of Fargo, ND; and two great granddaughters, Taaren and Leah Haak both of Valley City, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell "Rusty" Coppersmith on July 21, 1992, her son-in-law, Steve Morse, her parents, three brothers, Rudolf, Eugene, and Herman, and two sisters, Viola Muth and Leona Hauge.

Her funeral service will be Monday, December 31st at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church with Rev. Jonathan Boehne officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
