Ida S. Reimann was born March 28, 1914 on the family farm near Forbes, ND. She was the daughter of John and Martha (Smith) Reimann. She attended country school near Forbes and graduated from New York Hairdressing Academy in Fargo, ND. Ida married Otto Schneider in March 1934. They lived in Forbes where they operated a café. He died in 1941. She moved to Edgeley in 1945 and opened Vogue Beauty Salon which she operated for 60 years before retiring. Ida and John Frank were married on June 29 1951. They made their home in Edgeley. John died in February 1983. Ida was a baptized member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and later became a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Edgeley where she joined the church choir. Ida enjoyed playing the organ, piano and accordion as well as cooking, making dollies, sweaters and blankets.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jean (Richard) Carow, Edgeley; a granddaughter, two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
